Hayward Spa Air Blower 1.5Hp 115V wobbling sound when turned off and shaken

Hello All,

We have a "Hayward Spa Air Blower 1.5Hp 115V" connected to our pool spa that is 3 years of years old but is giving some trouble recently. When I turn on the blower, it gets very hot and shuts down within 15 mins. Even when its running, the pressure in the spa is very low.
I turned off the blower, took it out of the vertical PVC pipe and noticed it makes a rolling noise when shaken. I am wondering if something inside is broken, or something stuck inside causing the unit to heat up.

Anyone has this blower? care of check if yours make the sound too when shaken?

No, It worked fine couple of weeks ago. When I turned it on yesterday, it started to act up so I took it out of the PVC pipe and shook a little which is when I heard the sound. It sounds like something is rolling inside the blower housing.

Found and fixed the issue
Opened the blower and found there is a metal clamp holding the motor in place. The clamp had come loose which caused the motor to get slightly offset. This was causing some air to circulate within the unit causing overheating with shutdown and low water pressure in the spa. Tightened the clamp and its back to normal now.
