Always have Muriatic Acid on hand?.. pH jumped to 7.8+ after rains (previously at 7.4)

Lots of little storms and rain in NY lately. My pH has been a pretty constant 7.4, but checking today, it seems to be up at 7.8 or possibly a bit higher (hate reading color gauges when they don't match one of the given values/shades exactly).

Other current numbers are...
CYA 50
FC 8
CC 0
TA 120 (this has remained consistent, my tap/hose/city water is 120).

Should I be adding any muriatic acid at this point, or leave it alone? The other question is, is it a good idea to have a jug of muriatic acid on hand in the event I do end up needing it? And what brand to get. I'd likely get it from Home Depot, because I don't think I've seen muriatic acid at Ocean State Job lot.

I DO have on hand...
pH Minus (93.3% sodium bisulfate, 6.7% sodium sulfate),
... but I'm pretty sure you guys tend to recommend muriatic acid.

Anything low/no fumes is watered down. They list 10% to 30% on the MSDS but would be bragging if it was 30%. Instead, they hide the strength. You be the judge there. Lol.

It's fine but you need up to 3X as much.

Ace hardware has full strength for $10 to $15 depending on location. HD/Lowes has the weak stuff for a similar price range.

Thank you! I know that place, didn't realize it was affiliated with Ace. I normally just see plastic patio chairs piled up outside the place, just always associated them with plastic chairs. lol.

If I do reach pH of 8, how much should I aim for lowering the first go-around? -0.3 a safe way to go?
