Pool lining is falling

This happened a few days ago

How can I fix it
Do you think it happened due to excessive heat (I am in NJ USA) ?

Looks like the liner just popped out. Happens to most at some time including me. Take advantage of the current hot weather as the liner is most pliable now. Pull it up and reinsert it back into the liner track. Then maybe get some white beadlock and insert that into the liner track above the liner to help keep it there.

I poured some warm water but couldn't stretch it enough , the liner is at least 15 years old maybe more
I guess I need to reduce the water level first

Yes that's another option but if you have no other issues like fading and/or water leaks, it's worth trying to keep. But wow 15 years is really good for a liner!

That is not bad, you just need a little thumb muscle...work in from the edges, push up and in...you should not have to lower water level...

Well actually I am doing a wild guess, I purchased the house 2 years ago and the pool is installed 25 years ago, one of the pool guys said it seems 10-15 years old
