Confused about TA

Hey everyone, my pool is a little cloudy, can still see the bottom but it’s not perfectly clear. My current levels are:
CYA 40
FC 6
PH 7.6 - 7.8
TA 90
My TF-100 test kit says TA should be between 100-120 but online here between 50-70 i think. So which is it? I see most people are around 60 but other sites recommend around 100. I have no CC and passing ONCT so i dont think i need to Slam. Is it slightly cloudy from the TA? Should i lower it more? Thanks!

If the pool is cloudy, you likely have algae. Do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

Keep pH in the 7's. Do not concern yourself with where the TA lands.

Did your pool ever clear up after your slam? How are you chlorinating the pool now?

TA anywhere between 50 and 130 or thereabouts are a non issue and get resolved by bouts of MA when treating high PH.

I’m sure it’s algae but as I said I already passed the OCLT

I didn’t do a Slam yet, I’m just keeping my chlorine levels at the recommended level. I checked this morning and it’s better but still not crystal clear. Maybe I’m being picky lol I was more curious about the TA since high readings can cause cloudiness from what I read.

Ok cool, that’s what I did since my PH was high. I checked my PH this morning and it’s much better at 7.5 so hoping it says there. Then I know my TA level is fine.
