Cover missing in spa

Anyone have a clue what should be over this PVC pipe in my spa? I have two drains with covers and this is in the middle, so I’m not sure exactly what this cover should be or how it got lost. Thanks for the help.

Likely the make up return for your spillover. Not sure about a cover. May have never had one.

Show us a picture of your equipment pad. Focus on the return (water flowing back to the pool) side.

Is there waterflow at that pipe? If not it may be an umbrella socket.
