I usually bought muriatic acid at Lowe’s - I can only find the Klean strip green - but I cannot find the concentration.

Where do others buy it and what is the concentration?

THANK YOU ALL!!

I usually just get mine at a local pool store. It's not a chain, so I feel better about supporting them with retail purchases.

I found at the various Lowe’s in my area that the paint aisle only contains the “green” while the regular MA has been moved to the pool area in the Garden dept. They no longer carry it in both spots (inside and out). Were you looking only in paint or also in Garden?

In stock...

20 Baume, 31.45%, muriatic acid

The pool stores in my area now want ridiculous $16 per gallon of muriatic acid. Lowes/Homedepot seems to carry "green" stuff only. I am in south jersey, not sure where to buy it at good price.

At L/HD did you look outside in garden? At mine the “green” is in the paint dept and the regular is in the pool section outside in the garden dept.

If you have an Ace - they sell it at mine for 8.99$ but you have to ask for it as they keep it outside in back.

Ace Hardware store online says its not in stock near me. And when I was at HD, I did check their outdoor garden section that had pool stuff, it was not there. Will need to check Lowes garden section, but I doubt it. Lowes website no longer shows good strength muriatic acid, as if they discontinue carrying it.

Seems like best deal I found is Homedepot HDX, 2 gal for $20. Its not the nearest HD, as mine does not carry it. Will need to drive 10 miles one way to pick up, but worth it. Will just get 8 gallons to last for a while
