So water truck had 8k gallons Website says 16k gallons Dig sheet says 13500g. Pool after 8k is 16 inches from where skimmer will go. Read where some folks say Leisure numbers are off. Glad I was here. Will try to be here for next truck.

The bottom is tricky to calculate with the slope. You do an average depth and it will kinda be close. The top is much more accurate for volume. Length X width X depth X 7.481 gallons per cubic ft. You may have to take a couple depth measurements with the sundeck and stairs but they're still easy squares/rectangles.

Remember to measure water height and not shell height.

Followup. 1785-21a astm 2665 pvc 1120 pr well casing is what is written on the piping. 25 ft run one 90 then another 20ft to equipment. will send pics once they are in trench.

I’m not a pipe expert, just play one on TV but I think you’re good, pretty sure the 2665 just means dual rated for DWV. Be sure to check your sweeps and other fittings too and not just the pipe.

Main reason I chose pool builder was they also own an electric and plumbing company with great reputation in the area. Wanted as much in house as possible. Also most PB in area charge you a premium to PM. I am in the construction trade. Charging me 10-15% to schedule their subs was a non-starter for me. lol

This is invaluable, as I’m sure you can attest being in the trades. Choosing the right PB, or any contractor for the matter, is crucial.

I am not doing any of this. Everything came with the Hayward package pool builder is installing. They are putting lights in and finishing runs to Equipment pad as I type.

Yes, I know . The right schedule 40 is ASTM 1785 for pipe and ASTM 2466 for fittings. It can be dual rated including DWV, but has to say 1785 or 2466 even if it's schedule 40. This is in order for it to be rated for pressure applications.

If you pick up one of each, you'll easily see the collar on the DWV fitting that's about half as long. You'll never unsee it again.

For me, the DWV collar is to my fingernail and the pressure rated collar is to my knuckle if I stick my finger on the inside. With lady hands, it might be 1st knuckle and 2nd knuckle.

13k pool. Most things I read say 1-150sqft cartridge for this size. This is a 200sqft. Am I missing something? Do I need to double? Is it worth $ it to double?
