Hello Everyone, this is my owner builder pool. Dig is started.
36x 20x 33 L shaped pool
Deep end 8 ft deep, shallow 3.5 deep. Lots of seating. Running Pentair equipment, LED bubblers on my 7x 20 swim step. 18 in raised spa, 24 inch raised deep end bond beam for a deck to jump off. Planning on a slide also. Might do 3 18 inch waterfalls on the 24inch bond beam.

Awesome, good luck! Excited to see your build progress! I just built a nearly identical L-shaped, only vinyl and minus the water features.

Ditto on the pictures ;)

Now run out there with the plans and a tape measure. Is it deep, wide, long enough? Add about 6" for the steel, shell, and plaster. NOW is the time to fix it. Remember water depth is from the bottom to the middle of the skimmer opening. Some people measure depth as being from floor to coping. That is not WATER depth so...........

+1. You cannot take too many pics. Get many angles and you can triangulate it down the road. Dead off this window, intersecting dead off that fence post. Mine has been a year and I've already used them a dozen or more times finding stuff while putting the yard back together.

Or. More importantly, *not* finding plumbing while putting the yard back together.

My trusty shovel is either the measurement marker, or the measurement itself lol.

Good call, I’ll make sure to take many pics before backfilling the trenches.
