Need just a 244T Hayward 24" tank only

Hi — my tank is a 2009, and has developed a couple small "pin-hole" leaks at the seam. I tried some epoxy from the outside, but it was just a band-aid. My next attempt to save this tank is to take off the multi-port unit, take out the water/sand, let it dry and epoxy from the INSIDE, add new media (filter glass this time) and see if that works. My multi-port is totally fine, so it's just the tank I need to fix.

Any ideas? Should I just pay the $600 on a whole new unit? I can avoid that, and even get another five years, I'd be happy with that.

Thanks!

While Hayward lists the tank assembly (tank, skirt, laterals) as a separate item, the cost is high and they don't seem to be readily available.
