New plaster pool filled with water on 05/27/2022.

The grout between two tiles has a white build up that has been forming. It’s only in between these two tiles. I have been hitting it with a green scotch bright scrubbing pad to prevent the build up from becoming excessive.

Any thoughts on exactly what it is and what to do ?

My test results from last night.

FC- 4.0
CC- 0
PH- 7.6
TA- 80
CH- 320
CYA- 40
Temperature- 82

TA and CH have been consistent since after we got it filled with water and stabilized.

All summer I’ve been keeping the CSI level between -0.2 and 0.2.

Thanks in advance.

I’m trying to upload a photo but it’s saying the file is to large.

Here is a photo. All of the grout looks like the one to the right.

So , if I mix in a bottle 1 parts MA to 4 parts water and spray it on it should take it off ?

That’s seems to be the remedy ?
Go easy with the MA solution as it will also weaken and remove the grout.

The efflorescence will return.

What is everyone using to scrape away the efflorescence ?

I don't speak for everyone but I use this grout saw as a scraper.
