We just installed a new Intex SX1500 pump for our above ground pool. I saw that the pressure was in the yellow so I backflushed and then did a rinse, both for about a minute. When turned on, my wife noticed that she could feel no flow from any of the hose outlets. We felt the water on the outflow and it was hot. We felt the flow on the inflow and it was cool. Our next step is to tear pump all down to see if there is some sort of blockage, which we are doing now. Any suggestions would be greatley appreciated. Thanks, Chuck
We also noticed that there is no water flowing trhough the leaf trap (part 29). I have also attached how pump is set up, just in case....

Be certain that u have the multi port valve installed in the correct orientation & also that the inlet & outlet hoses are hooked up correctly. Sounds silly but happens more than u think.

We figured it out this morning. We got the new pump and installed it but left on a on and off valve from the old pump. We tore eveything down and checked it out and it still was not flowing through. We finally decided to try taking out the valve and just going direct. Everything is now working. However, the pump pressure dial is right on the line of green and yellow and the pool is all green. I did test the water with a Clorax pool 3-way test kit. Indicates that there is no chlorine and ph is not even registering. I put in 2 bags of Chlorine and I will need to get chemicals tomorrow to raise ph. For the green algae, I put in HTH Super Algae Gurard. I did attache a picture of the pump we are using but here it is again. I am not sure if the pool is 18 or 20 by 48, so that would be 6000-8000 gallons. After we get the algae, ph, and chlorine situated, I will be adding HTH pool care Clarifier Advanced. Thanks, Chuck
