Hi everyone, I have a Black & Decker 1.5 HP variable speed pump, which works great. But it started turning on (at 1000 rpm) on its own at random times during the day. Does anyone have any experience with this? I have it set to run automatically at night (which works fine). This is really a headscratcher for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not too many people on here with the B&D VSP. Has the pump lost power recently? Some cheaper pumps don't have a RTC.

Century V-Green 165 not running schedule
I have a Century V-Green 165 variable speed pump that was installed last fall as part of my new pool. I feel like the schedule isn't running correctly. Right now I have stage 1 set to 2100 rpms for 10 hrs, and stage set to 0 rpms for 14 hrs. This morning at 6am I started the pump at stage 2...

Thanks. What’s RTC? And yes, the pump did recently lose power for a bit (due to power outage).
Yea it actually does have RTC, and I did set the time. A real head scratcher I tell you.
When the pump has power loss does it have the correct time when power is restored? Can you do a factory reset and reprogram?
