Hello I have just completed the SLAM process and have a clear pool. Now I am trying to get it all balanced. My levels are FC-0, CH-425, TA-200, Cya-0. Thank you.

How did you do the SLAM process with 0 CYA? And now having 0 FC means you should do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test as you may have algae.

mknauss is correct. Essentially, you cannot complete a SLAM with 0 FC and 0 CYA would make a SLAM VERY problematic.

I am using the test kit from tfp and results are from last night. The SLAM was completed about a week ago and did have cya when we were doing the process not sure what happened afterwards.

CYA cannot just leave. What was the level during the SLAM?
Regardless, if now 0 you need to get 40 ppm CYA in the pool water. Also 5 ppm FC. Then do another Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

Also - your signature says you are testing with "hth 6 way test strips". Please update that.

I would retest CYA using the instructions in Extended Test Kit Directions Archives
You need chlorine. Now. Or you will be doing the SLAM process again.
I took the water to a water test place just to see if my test were wrong and it came back with CYA at 2ppm, and saying my alkalinity is high and needs like 8 gallons of muriatic acid. I am so lost at this point. I have no idea how I have put stabilizer in twice already and its gone again.
You might explain how you are performing the test and see if anyone can point out something that’s wrong. The TF100 can’t test below 20ppm anyway so a zero would be impossible so maybe it’s a simple thing like that.
8 gallons of acid is terrible advice if they really said that.
They really said that, before I did the slam it was calling for that and we got it clear and put muriatic acid in and it turned green so don't want that again. I just retested for cya and it is showing nothing filled all the way to the top of the tube.
Under no circumstance would 8 gallons of acid be recommended for a problem. Something was really wrong with the testing.
