Kids couldnt help themselves

I'm sure the choices were as agonizing as they are for everyone. You sir, knocked yours OUT the park. (y)

Thank you. It was, everything we initially picked ended up being out of stock when it was time to order. So a lot of going back and forth. In all I'm glad it happened the way it did.

You weren't asking but I thought I'd let you know that your ledger rock looks quite similar to mine. I have had mine since late 2018. I just wanted let you know that, to date, I haven't seen anything like calcium buildup or hard water spots or anything like that on mine from running the waterfalls. I usually only run the waterfalls when people are over and want them or normally, for a couple of minutes a few times a week just make sure I get any old water in the pipes cleared out and maintain things. I noticed that if I don't run them at least for a bit, then things can start to build up in the pipes and I get dead algae and whatnot in the pool when I do finally kick them on. I was a little worried that with the various depth edges and whatnot that things would pool up and eventually stain but that's not been my experience so far.

You pool looks great and I am jealous of the 70 degree water :). Mine is like 57 here in SoCal!

Thank you! Super excited. I have to use the chlorine pucks until my 30 days are up then I will start using liquid. Positive note is the are not going to add cya. They said that the pucks will add it slowly and that would keep me from having to replace my water. Anyway just waiting for that 30 day mark.

For some reason the water from my hose is warm
The ground insulates your street water from the daily swings in temps. For example, I recently tested mine and the ground was insulating it *up* to 39 degrees. In the summer here it will be 55 instead of 80.

At least your water was 70. My kids wanted to jump in the day it was filled in January. I told them the water wasn't safe because I didn't know what the PB had put in there. Was able to push it off a month until they turned it over near the beginning of March. So at 9:30am on a sunny, late February Saturday morning, my two knuckleheads jumped in to 43 degree water! That lasted exactly one jump. But the afternoon temps were in the 70's and the kids thought the water temps should follow, so by 2pm they were back out there. By then I think the water had risen to 50 or so. We might have kicked on the heater for a bit too, I can't remember.

Lots of fun times ahead! The pool looks fantastic!
