How long is your pool taking to get built ?

I think we are the anomaly. We are in Southern California and we are 9 weeks in from initial dig day. We should have pebble and water in by the end of next week, so looks like 10 solid weeks. I was promised 8-10 weeks with no delays and we did run into a one week delay for our marble coping we chose. But speaking to some neighbors they are more than double the time and far behind. How long is your project taking and where are you located?

We kinda happened into a quick build, someone’s financing fell through and we stepped into their spot
Contract 1/25
Dig 1/26
Rebar 1/27
Plumbing 1/28
Gunite 1/29
I picked out tile today so hopefully we are still on track!!

Florida here. Broke ground in May of 2021. Waiting on plaster and electrical. Looking like a 12 month build however that's just a guess based on 2-3 months of waiting between steps we've experienced so far.

Signed April ‘21. Hiccups along the way. Waiting on round 2 attempt on electrical and plumbing… then pavers, plaster, fence… promised spring but wouldn’t be surprised about ‘labor visas’ in limbo or a forgotten order.

In SE Houston. Signed contract end of September then ran into a few delays with city permits that pushed us back to late November for dig. Weather delays bumped us back to 12/13 dig day. Filled the pool 2/10 so right at 8 weeks. That included a new patio as part of the build as well.

Philly Suburbs
7/2020 Contract Signed
8/2021 Planned Construction (Missed because of resin shortage, fiberglass pool)
10/2021 Pool delivered to builder
11/2021 Permits Applied
1/2022 Permits Approved
1/27/2022 - Excavated into a small slope for retaining wall. This just created a level pad for the pool excavation to start.
Today: Still waiting for them to come back and dig but snow and rain keeps delaying. Backyard is a muddy mess.

Georgia:
Was told they would start on Mar 1 and take 12 weeks dependent on the weather.
Builder applied for the Environmental Health authorization a month later.
Dig was completed Jun 1 (The day it was supposed to be finished)
Weeks and weeks of nothing going on.
The decking was just completed.
At the end of this month, it will be 12 months of our 12 week build
I would guess another month or two but I've been wrong before.

Georgia: Dig day was May 17th and was told the quickest it would be was 12 weeks without rain... filled the Pool the week before thanksgiving so that is 6 months and then another month for landscaping.
