How long is your pool taking to get built ?

Jan 13th: Dig started and went for 9 days
Jan 26th: Rebar
Jan 29th: Plumbing
Feb 7th: Fixed a section of rebar to account for faux infinity edge
Feb 8th: Plumber came back to fix the spacing of the bubblers (something I asked them to fix)
Feb 15th: Scheduled for gunite- 1st time
I have been a little annoyed as they had time last week to do the gunite but for whatever reason scheduled it for tomorrow

Moved Sept 2020
Seeeeeeeeeeeeriously considered but didnt pull trigger January 2021
Did pull trigger April (?) 2021
Dig was hopeful for July 2021
Became too cold Nov 2021
Still Waiting for a hole Feb 2022

With my first build, the setbacks felt like gut-punches. They were all forgotten soon after the first cannonball. Within a few months i was telling hysterical stories about the headaches to visitors.

This time it will just be, when it will be.

I live in Southern California
-Paid the deposit in November 2020.

-Finalized designed of pool in January 2021

-Had delays getting permit approved needed soils report…permits approve in June 2021

-Dig started in July 2021

February 2022…waiting to plaster pool…

Once summer was over I could care less when they complete the pool as long as it is before summer! I have been happy with builder so far.

We are in Southern California as well. Started excavation on 1/21/22, and we had our first inspection today. Shotcrete on 2/22/22. Hoping to be done mid April.

We're 18 days into construction and they're doing the final tile/coping today. We're on pace to fill it with water in about 23 days construction time if the weather holds out.
I'm all for expediency, but I hope that is a typo! If you're looking at 23 days start of construction to fill, you certainly didn't have the recommended 3 weeks to a month of cure time for your gunite before plaster. When you rush the process, you risk getting poor adhesion from the plaster.
