So I have a Pentair Intelliflo VS + SRVS pump that will not kick on once it reaches the start time I have it set to, whenever I have the pump running on Auto. Couldn’t figure out what the issue was, so I left it running on service on the set schedule (I will be back tomorrow). Don’t understand why it won’t turn on, has anybody else encountered this issue?

A,

If the pump runs in the Service mode, and not when in Auto mode, then most likely you have lost your RS-485 com port signal..

I assume you have an EasyTouch or IntelliTouch automation system.

When in Auto, the pump's display should say "Display Not Active".. If not, it means the Automation is not talking to the pump.. If it does say "Display Not Active" then most likely it is a programming issue with the automation.

Could also be something simple, like someone manually turned the pump on or off with the "F" button and caused the automation to get out of sync.. You might have to reset the automation or wait for the next scheduled cycle.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thank you Jim, I appreciate your help! Will take a closer look tomorrow and hopefully get it fixed.
