House with unused pool for 3+ years

We’re looking at buying a house with a pool that’s been unused for years. They’re selling the pool as is and will not allow any inspection that plays into house decision. I can visibly see missing tiles in the pool and the filter is completely destroyed. How much might this set us back to get it completely up and running again? I assume there might be electrical damage, damage or issues with plumbing and possibly some issues with the jacuzzi. I was thinking around 25,000 but is it possible to be much higher than that?

I didn’t even know you could do that…. I would assume the worst. If they didn’t winterize properly and there are multiple plumbing breaks from freezing that are under the deck (assuming concrete), you could easily be looking at $50k for a remodel in my opinion.

In the climate of New York, and not knowing the cost structure of your location, I would agree 50K as a minimum to expect. That assumes the shell is not compromised (holds water).
