Just started noticing tiny light brown spots on my pool floor. Its in ground with a year old diamond brite finish. Water is in chemical balance. The stains are easy enough to remove with a chlorine tablet but they come back the next day.

If they are coming off with tabs, I suspect they are organic in nature. Can you share some test results? Also, is you pool in a FL room enclosure? Any chance you have some tree debris (i.e. tannin) blowing in?
I agree with you that the stains are organic in nature. I will post test results today. I do have an outdoor pool cage. After reading some more posts I believe you hit the nail on the head Texas. I have an oak tree branch extending over the pool cage in that corner of the pool. I think its time for that branch to go bye bye. Thank you.
