Hi everyone,
have a question as I have been doing pretty well with my TF-100 kit and new pool.
I normally have to add about a 1/3 gallon of acid every 3rd day to lower PH to “orange” - 7.5
I lowered the PH to about 7.3 prior to leaving as I have multiple water features that run during the day - I intentionally left them on to experiment what would happen to the PH when I returned
I tested upon return - it was purple as expected but I’m not sure how far over 8.0 it really was (purple is purple).
Odd thing was I added my typical 1/3 gallon and checked a few hours later and PH was down to 7.5 - orange again
my question: is there such a thing as PH reaching a ceiling/max level and could this be the reason why after 10 days it took the same amount of acid to lower vs what it takes after 3 days ? I’m a bit muffled on this one
thanks all
