What is the weirdest thing you've found in your skimmer basket?

I once found a snake in mine. Then there was the time a frog fell out of the skimmer basket into the skimmer throat. Gone before I could catch him.

I replaced the sand in my sand filter shortly after that. Couldn't deal with swimming in frog water...

Opossum, toads, chipmunk, mice, voles, small snake. This question has come up before. The warm weather owners list things like scorpions, rattle snakes and an alligator. I'll keep our cold winters and avoid that kind of thing.

I had a frog jump back into the skimmer as I was pulling the basket out. Thankfully he was caught at the pump basket and I was able to rescue him.
