New pool ownership is so much fun - will be glad when I figure all of this out
next question is around the deep end return jet (closest to pad). I have air bubbles coming out - you can see it a lot more at night with the white light on vs what you see during daylight
anyways - I’ve checked the motor lid O ring for debris and wiped it clean. The motor basket doesn’t seem to have excessive air - a medium bubble at surface under the clear lid
pool service mgr came by today to look at something unrelated and I had him look. He stuck a screwdriver insider the return to see if there was a piece of pebble or something creating blockage and he said “you have a 90 degree fitting in there”, he wasn’t sure why I had a 90 degree fitting but he then said that turn of water near the orifice is enough to create air as it comes out - and the famous phrase “nothing to worry about”
I have not replicated his test to see if I could feel the 90 bend but does this sound normal - if there is a 90 degree fitting inside (absent of knowing why it’s there), do you folks agree that could be the cause for air bubbles ?
what else should I be asking/doing and checking ?
