Cloudy Water

i opened my pool five weeks ago, ran the SLAM process and am maintaining chemicals. My water will not clear up (I still can’t see the drains in the deep end).
Current test results below:

FC 7
CC 0.5
Ph 7.4
Alkalinity 60
CYA 40

any ideas? It’s like the sand filter isn’t filtering well. Do people change the sand or clean it besides a backwash?

There are three criteria to a successful SLAM Process. The first is crystal clear water. Are you sure you should not still be in the SLAM process?

Good point. I’ll kick it up again and maintain it until it clears.

Sand filters should have a deep clean done every year or so.
