Please, please....if you get a chain link fence, go black. The black fence is really hard to see when looking at a yard, compared to a bare metal one. So much nicer looking. Classier.

I got a 5ft black chain link fence for the dogs and it looks good. I paid $3k for it. I'm going the same for this one too.
Here is the fence I'm getting. Its 5ft. The only difference will be the gate swinging outward with a self locking mechanism on it. The fence will be 4ft away from the Thujas and they will eventually encompass the fence to where you cant see it at all on 3 sides. I have a great fence guy who drops everything for previous customers. This will be my 3rd go around with him.

Do you have deer in your area? My deer easily hop a 5 foot fence. The higher the better to keep them out.

Zoning calls for a 4ft minimum fence for pools. I do have deer who graze through the grass here in the middle of the night. I've never had one hop my dogs 5ft fence and my fence guy said that 6ft fences look like prison fences and I'd like to avoid that at all cost since I work in a prison. I'd like to not keep the look going at home if I can help it.

Once your thuas and other shrubbery grows in the fence will not be noticeable but the additional height will keep the deer out. Food for thought.

He's not the only one. They destroyed that yard since the fence went in and I dont care! It's their yard. Old man complains about it but I dont care! I'm so glad to have invested in the fence! I just got done planting dappled willows in front of the fence to visually limit them so they'll stop running a mud path up n down the fence line. I'll be planting more on the top half towards the back.
I can not wait to get this poolin. Nearly 2 summers and I've not swam. I miss it so much! I need to swim! Having a pool is not a want with me. It's a necessity!

Probably but I'm not going to fret over it. I wont have a ton of trees around and a couple ornamental trees are not going to drive me batty with dropping leaves.

I dont think it does. I love the leaves and color. It grows 6-8ft tall and 5-6ft wide.Does it flower? I might want one too!
