I've been wondering if I should add enough Liquid Chlorine (base on CYA level) to raise to FC Level to prevent yellow mustard algae or is it okay to just add enough liquid chlorine to be in the minimum-maximum level?

Hi. I saw another chart on TFP (maybe someone had posted it on another post) where it has that chart, but it also also included the recommended level for yellow algae. Should I not bring it up that high unless I see yellow algae?

There is no need to use the MA FC level chart. That is for pools that have had mustard algae.

Thank you for making that clear. I added just a little too much liquid chlorine earlier . I will just follow that FC/CYA chart you mentioned ealier.
