Brief history: was using pristine blue and liquid chlorine. After a big storm I found my pool looking like a container of Coca Cola. Freaked out, asked a friend and added Metal Out along with a Leslie clarifier and bleach. 2 days later it was clear. Found TFP and have been living the TFP way ever since. BTW I'm still using CuLator metal sequesterant in a plastic holder to try and continue to get rid of copper.
This was 2 months ago. This whole time I’ve noticed some staining on my floor. I started the SLAM 2 weeks ago and thought that it was making the stains lighter but today they are the same and even with brushing and 15-20ppm chlorine levels, they are not disappearing.
Today I filled a sock with granulated chlorine as I couldn’t find pucks (end of season) and used brush the rub stains but no change. I then used the only. Vitamin c I had (Orange chewable crushed) in a sock and it did nothing to the stain. I’m trying to get rid of the stains before I close the pool for the winter. I need your suggestions. What do I do now?
