Moving up to 1 1/2 inch

This fall I'm planning to upgrade to 1 1/2 inch flexible pvc on my new pump and filter. I have the fittings for the pool, but not sure what I need to connect everything to the pump and sand filter. Can I get a list of bits and bobs I'll need for this project?

You’ll need 1.5” slip fittings that are threaded to match the filter and pump.

If I were doing it, I’d add buttress unions so you can just unscrew them and take your pump in for winter. I would also consider valves at the end of the lines so you can isolate the pump and filter from water from the pool in case you need to service the equipment with the pool full.

I have the pump sitting in my dining room and the filter isn't here yet (on backorder from Pool Supplies Superstore, should ship the 22nd). That's all the equipment I'll have, just the pump and the filter.

Buttress unions? I have some gate valves already that are 1 1/2 inch. Is this what you're talking about?
