BUMMER!Turns out that there is a hole
From what I gathered, as long as the holes are just in the bottom and the rest of the shell is ok, it should be fixable, correct?
Neat!!
I can't believe they buried that pool....I mean, if it's too much to handle (and I totally get it that when you get older it gets harder to deal with "stuff") then just sell the stinkin' house a move on....
Bonus!Also....seemingly good news.
From what the neighbors told us, I believe the man ended up in a nursing home or assisted living facility or something like that just a few months later.
All the stuff in the pool was a 2 birds with one stone for the old man. Not paying for disposal and less fill needed to purchase. Neither one of those would add a lot of savings but to someone on a fixed income, every dollar matters. All the Crud thrown in the pool makes me think that this was done by the lowest bidder or someone who just didn't care about what would happen in the future.
What you say is so true, but do you really think any person invoved with filling any pool in ever thought it would see the light of day again?Someone who just didn't care about what would happen in the future.
I always leave criptic notes that relate to current events when deep into a remodel. Sure they may remain forever buried but one never knows.....What you say is so true, but do you really think any person invoved with filling any pool in ever thought it would see the light of day again?
