so we got the light wired up and electrical inspection scheduled for monday... they hope to get the lawn graded and ready for coping/pavers by end of next week
You run a hose to that spigot and turn the pump on and it will drain the pool slowly. So we didnt get coping/tile done Friday like originally planned. But we did get equipment/pad installed this morning (no electric yet) - look decent to you guys? He was here so early I was barely awake when he was leaving so I didnt get to ask him anything - but whats the deal with the waste pipe thats capped with a gauge on it (in middle of pic)? I assume thats how you remove water if its overflowing? But how?
Also in the irst pic theres still 2 lines out of the ground(bottom left area) that are just capped off , not attached to any of the new stuff, what would those possibly be?

Also tile guys came and got some prep done, and brought our tile (no coping delivered yet)

right now all the guages (filter too ) say 0... when it was capped before equipment it was 35-40ish all the time i looked at it.You run a hose to that spigot and turn the pump on and it will drain the pool slowly.
The pressure gauge isn't necessary since the filter has one on it. They will leave 35ish psi in the pipes to pass inspection and make sure there are no leaks. I am not sure about the two capped pipes. If you can zoom in on this picture I think these are the two capped pipes:

I think one might be the under drain which is below your gunite shell. This is used if you need to empty your pool water completely. You can pump the water out from under the shell so it doesn't pop out of the ground. But verify those pipes with the builder.right now all the guages (filter too ) say 0... when it was capped before equipment it was 35-40ish all the time i looked at it.
i think one of those 2 you made a square on was "hydrostatic relief" maybe?
i mean ill ask of course next time they are over here but was trying to figure it out
looking at my pool i see:
5 normal returns in walls
2 returns on the floor.
main drain
skimmer
then the 2 im not sure of:
pipe that sticks out under the skimmer area
pipe that sticks out from the deep end bench
It looks good. The two pipes going to the small black box is your pool light. The transformer is the tan box mounted to your wall. So you have a low voltage pool light or lights. There is a power cord running to the aqua pure. It looks like maybe an actuator under the aqua pure but I can't see it that well. The sensor in your pipe is going to read your pool water temperature and the gray box under the electrical box probably reads the air temperature. This is useful if you have a heater.so equipment is installed (installers speak 0 english so kind of hard to ask questions) but wondering if anyone knows what this stuff is and if its normal to install like this?
So heres the full picture

but im wondering about all these external wires running on the pipes :

look slike the other cables installed onto the salt cell to control it i imagine?

but then this little sensor looking thing attached here what is this?

then this thing hanging outside of box
