Hi, we are at day 7 with our new gunite shell and today while watering it I noticed what looks like a rust stain (See pictures). Is this something I should be concerned about??

It would be difficult for the rebar to rust that quickly. That's more than likely a stain from the dirt where water is leaching through the shell.
Try cleaning it with some dish soap and a brush and see if it clears up

Yes, if that is rust it will come through the plaster coat if left as is. They need to chisel into the gunite, cut out the offending rebar and patch it prior to plastering.
Cleaned it with soap as recommended and it looks like most of it went away. I also used something abrasive to go at the spot to see what was behind the issue and I do not see any rebar.

Another thing I noticed today was a crack in my gunite that is approximately 5” in width (see photo). Thanks again to all the knowledgeable people of TFP.
@bdavis466 I was just out measuring everything and noticed that one vertical wall is around 4.5-5” thick, shouldn’t gunite be 6” thick ? If so what should I ask my PB to do to fix it right ? I am also contracted at 8” bond beam but looks like on that same wall it’s 7”.
I just reviewed the engineering and it looks like 5” which is within reason for what I have there, thanks. I always thought standard was 6” of Gunite.
