FC level not increasing

FC level 24, added three quarts chlorine.

Have to head over to the in-laws for the night, unexpected plans. Made a poor man's Stenner pump and reamed a tiny hole in the bottom of each jug so a steady drip comes out and another vent hole on the top of the bottle just in case. Not sure if it will work or not but figured it's better than nothing!!

Tested the water just now, FC at 18 so I lost about 10 ppm over the course of 26 hours. Going to bump back up to 28, brush, and another oclt tonight.

My bucket trick didn't really work, one jug didn't drain at all because the hole was too small, oh well.

Just to provide a final update, two days later and the SLAM was complete. I'm losing between 1-3ppm FC during the day but at night the loss is negligible (.5 or less). Wound up using around 12 gallons of 12.5% liquid chlorine and will use the rest for regular maintenance.

Appreciate the help from everyone and I definitely learned something new from the process ;)
