I feel this maybe one of those “ right in front of My face “ answers, but I’ve looked And I am still drawing a blank, I need to find a reducer from a 2 inch 90 degree to a threaded intex pipe ( I think they are 1.5 inch ) I hope Lowe’s or Homedepot have something i can go pick up, and I am just being blind or not finding on their sites, as I’d love to finally get Our pool running tomorrow. thank you for any help and sorry if this is something simple I am overlooking.

Those might be proprietary threads on the hose. Meaning: not a standard size.

Thanks, I am trying to avoid the outside world as much as possible as my wife and i are looking after her Grandmother who is recovering from a cancer operation, its why i was hoping to find something i could pick up rather than get out amongst the general public. the ID of the 2inch pipe seems closer to 2.25 than 2

Pvc fittings are cheap- i would order multiple sizes just to be sure u have what u need. Also to avoid the threading difference problems u could just order standard pool hoses & intex adapters if you’re willing to wait for shipping here’s how mine is set up

Can u show a pic of the setup your trying to accomplish? That may be more helpful - what’s the 90 for?
Sorry if my terms or descriptions are wrong this is still a learning curve for me, the pump is a 1/2 hp solar powered
Pump. I simply want to put it in place of the intex pump. So need to get the pump connection to the intex return, and then send it on to the sand filter. After that it’s all intex hoses again to the salt water chlorinator and then back to the pool. Sorry for the rushed photo i am juggling work and pool.

Yeah I would probably do away with those 2 intex hoses & 90’s
It would go - pump->barbed fittingw/ flex hose -> intex adapter
They sell the barbed fittings in a variety of sizes - you want whatever size fits on the inside threads of your pump. You’ll also need hose clamps.
there are also multiple lengths of the hoses available
The intex adapters & standard hoses are really the only way i have found around the connection issues- because of the thread situation.
the barbed fittings & hoses are standard on above ground pools & are also easy to come by. Pool places also just sell tubing by the foot too if u don’t wanna go for the hoses.
on my old pool i had hooked pvc to intex & i never was able to stop all the leaks.

Thank you, i will not pretend to fully understand what you said but it gives me some pointers for google. Our pool is ready for salt now ( well was until storms rolled in ) so i am keen for the family to enjoy it asap. And i am trying to avoid public places due to us looking after my wifes sick Grandmother, so hopefully i can figure this out and order something today.
