So basically were are renting this house out in the E. Texas country. It has an inground concrete pool that is in poor shape. It had some big chunks of plaster missing that the owner paid someone to patch. The pool really needs replastering but that isnt going to happen so I want to do what I can to get this pool up and running for at least one season.
I just want to make it presentable by painting it before filling it. Ive already pressure washed it to remove all the loose paint (there are 2 layers). I was going to clean it with TSP next and then paint with Acrylic paint, I have no idea what type of paint is on there already but heard Acrylic will go over anything. As we are renting I want to do this as cheap as possible. Do I need to acid wash the pool first or can I just paint once I clean with TSP? Any other tips for getting this going?
