So, with a grip of tools I've ended up working part time at the hotel I'm staying in. Nice right? You know what would be nicer? If that empty pool had some water in it.
After doing a bit of research, there seems to be a number of people that purport that you can't fill in a pool that has remained empty for any significant period of time.
To me it seems as simple as patching some cracks, and filling it up.
Can anyone explain anything about static pressure, sinkholes, the water table, and what I might be able to do to remediate these factors?
