Pumie Pumice Block vs. Other "Stones" for Removing Calcium at Water Line

An older thread (removing calcium, options) where member Ozdiver mentioned he had used the following product to rub off calcium scale on his water line:

Amazon.com: EarthStone PoolStone Pool and Spa Cleaning Block, 3-Pack: Home & Kitchen. Earth Stone Pool Cleaning Block

Wanted to know if you had previous experience with the Pumie pumice block: https://www.acehardware.com/departm...VNx6tBh2XDAyYEAQYASABEgJi_vD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Hopefully that link works. The big block is hard to come by, unfortunately. The only place I've managed to find it was at Ace Hardware, and it's about 10 bucks a block. Wondering if the "glass block" mentioned is any better.

The Pumie block, which is man-made pumice out of China (go figure) does wear away quickly as well. I have a smaller pool with glazed porcelain tile at the water line. The calcium scale is very hard, undissolvable by muriatic acid, and a line of it, even on one tile, will eat the pumice block for breakfast!

Anyone with experience with both, please chime in! It may just come down to buying a block off Amazon and trying it myself. Thanks in advance!
