Rebar installed. I installed an extra bond wire across the bottom of the pool besides the 4 points at the top corners that the Pb is doing.

The seat in the side was a last minute addition with a sheer decent waterfalls onto it. Not happy that the steps are not equal heights. PB coming tomorrow so we will discuss this. Forms being removed tomorrow (Friday) Plumbing goes in on Monday. Pool is 16x32. Depth is 3’6” to 5’6”. My wife wanted to stand (although that may be questionable)

Retired electrician here. Wanted to run line to pool panel and heat pump and have the PB electrician do everything else. Could not make this work so I am doing everything!
90 Amp line run to Intermatic Pool Panel with single clock (space for second clock) and 300 watt low voltage transformer for pool light. (Could have got smaller transformer) Pool light (at this moment) is Hayward 100 watt 12v incandescent.

Hayward Variable Speed Pump (Tristar VS 2.7)
Hayward Cartridge Filter SWIMCLEAR 200 sq. ft.
Hayward Heat Pump 140,000
Hayward AquaRite 900 Is the AquaRite Pro better to go with?

It has been an issue getting a clear answer on bonding the water. Local Electrical Inspector (North of Tampa Florida. Hernando County) telling me that the bonded rebar steel buried in the concrete is sufficient. No ladders or railings IN the pool water. Plastic pool light niche. PB says he never heard of bonding the water. Ran into a retired electrician from Conneticut the other day and he tells me they don’t bond the water.

I bought this part anyway to place in the line.

I think I am all caught up. Anything that I should have done differently and/or can still change?

Nice looking, and I was so glad to see the dig didn't disturb that really nice palm you have there in the yard. The corners are neat, as Kim :kim: said. While I am not sure what the problem with the stairs is they look really good.

Will you be putting a bird cage up??

Keep up the pics, please!

The NEC requires 9 square inches of bonded metal in the water. I will find and post the quote. I took a pic a few days ago of the inside of my niche.

Bob,

The people that make the light niche are not stupid and that is why it is there.. I suspect it is exactly 9 sq inches.. The only reason for the metal is to bond the water.
