Jim,
Thanks for you explanation; it gives me a much better understanding of the two types of circuits. The relay seems to act like a safety switch that allows you to use a lower voltage circuit to control something that requires a lot more electricity (my non-technical take). Attached is a picture of my ET 4 wall panel. As I mentioned, there is nothing assigned to Aux3 or any of the Feature circuits.

Your analogy is correct...

I don't see the pic..

You could use Aux3 or any Feature Circuit to control the Spillway mode. I would use the Feature Circuit and save the Aux3 for something you might need later.

The only way to see your Feature Circuits on your remote is to use the Menu button.. If your unit is like mine, the first line will say "F. Circuits.."

With your set up, I am not at all surprised that none of your Feature Circuits are used.

You can assign a Feature Circuit to a button on that remote I believe. You would have the Feature Circuit set up with an egg timer for shut off.

I checked the feature circuit menu and it appears that they are all unassigned and set to "off".

Makes perfect sense, as they are not being used... If you named Feature #1 "Spillway" then when you looked at the F. Circuits list it would say

Spillway
Feature #2
Feature #3
Feature #4
etc...

I have a 10,000 gallon pool and a 700 gallon connected spa. The spa water level sits above that of the pool. I have a lot of pressure and air bubbles coming out of the spa return jet when in spa mode and much less pressure and no bubbles coming out of the other. My filter pressure is running 3 to 5 psi below normal. The pool water level is fine and the pump basket O ring seems to properly lubricated and seated correctly. Any advice is appreciated.

Is this new pool or has it been working fine and just now has an issue?? Do you have an automation system the switches the valves between the pool and spa modes?

Show us a pic of your equipment pad showing all valves in the Spa position.

We exchanged posts about this (among other things) a few weeks ago and I sent equipment pictures at that time, although I know you have had many other customers to deal with. I had posted that the level of my spa was dropping a few inches (just above return jets) after I used the spa. It only does this when the spa has been used. The spa level returns to normal the next morning when the pool equipment starts for the day. If the spa is not used, the water level holds at the correct level after the pool equipment shuts off for the night. My return diverter valve is set so that water returns to both the pool and spa during the entire time the pool equipment is on. Today I noticed that when in spa mode there are a lot of bubbles coming out of one of the two spa return jets. There are no bubbles and far less pressure coming out of the other spa return jet. I have not noticed any air bubbles coming out of the pool returns when in pool mode. Thanks again for all your advice/help.

Did you ever replace, or rebuild, the check valve that is supposed to keep the spa from draining back into the pool? Does the spa still drain down??

Let me ask one of our pool building experts about the jets.... Calling @bdavis466 ... Got any words of wisdom about the OP's jet operation and what could be done to fix it?

In addition to the issues of the spa level dropping at night (only when spa used) and the two spa return jets behaving differently in spa mode (one jet has a lot of pressure and bubbles and the other no bubbles and little pressure), I am now noticing some other changes. Specifically, when I clean the pump basket and open the air relief valve on the filter, little if any air comes out. Also, when I turn the system back on, water does not spray out of the air relief valve (it only dribbles out). The pump also seems like it's taking longer to prime and the filter pressure is about 10 psi, which is about 3 psi below normal. Not sure what exactly is going on and whether any or all of these problems are related. Any advice is appreciated.

Even when I'm running at 1200 RPM, water will spray right out of my air relief valve.. Very little air and then a lot of water..

What is your filter pressure?

When was the last time you cleaned your filter?

What kind of filter do you have..

When you get a chance, please add your pool's signature like the one at the bottom of my posts.

The last time we had an unexplained pressure drop, we discovered the impeller was jammed up with stuff (hair, long pine needles, etc.). Cleaning the impeller fixed things up.
