That’s the REAL way to make chili!!! Bean-less chili is NOT chili, it’s hamburger helper! :pth:

..... and Tofu made from cold-pressed hemp seed oil ..... and don’t forget to serve the chili on a nice bed of pickled cactus strips and alfalfa sprouts ..... :love:

Beef, pork & bean chili. I also like to add some chopped green & red bell pepper that I add in at the last 15min of cook time to give it a little crunch. The beans are also added at the end so they don’t mush. I like to render bacon fat and brown all the meat and minced onion in that. It also adds a nice smoky bacon flavor. Finally I use my own chili spice mix that includes cocoa powder, cinnamon and allspice. I like to serve it with white rice, sour cream and all the fixin’s.

Good looking chili ya got there. I put green peppers in mine as well, it adds some nice flavor. Try serving it in sour dough bread bowls (Fry’s) with melted cheddah on top, or over Jasmine rice. Yum!!

All this talk about chili is wanting me to make some, but the weather here in Florida is still a little warm. Have to get in the right mood :cheers:
 
Hey rob DW just came back from the food and wine festival at epicot and she stopped by Disney springs at Art Smiths restaurant and pick me up cheesey Mac and cheese and his famous fried chicken. Soooooo good :cheers:
