With your pool being an inground it will be a little harder than I have with my above ground. Get in the pool OR kneel down by the closest return to the skimmer. Have the hose attached to the vacuum head (that is a nice one you posted just make sure it does not have wheels) and the pole already in place and in a place you can grab it. Put the other end of the hose in front of the return so the water is being pushed into the hose. It may cause the vacuum head to raise up. No big deal just make sure you can get to the pole when you are ready. When the hose is full of water keep it under the water and walk/take the hose over to the skimmer and put it in to the pool side skimmer hole and onto the plate connection. This is the hard part. Oh and make sure the pump is on when you do this. I also close my main drain so all of the suction is coming from the skimmer.
