New Pool Build, Yet Another in DFW

Pavers and stone work are done! Hooray for the beginning of the end of the dust... Need a good rain to wash everything off! Pre-plaster inspection is tomorrow, then shell clean and plaster on their next available day. In the home stretch!

Those are cool! Did you ask for those? Wish we'd have known that was an option. Can't wait to see the skimmer lids...the bronze ones we have are dang hot in the summer.
I did, I asked for a different version, made by pour-a-lid...basically the same thing. But the stone place said they can just make them out of the actual decking, so I went with that. How hot those metal ones get is why I was looking into other options. PB had never seen them before and he was also impressed. Have a feeling I'll be seeing them on some of his future builds on facebook. :D

Looks good. Is it literally just a piece of cut travertine or is there someone underneath for structural support?

Yep, just a piece of decking. Same as the piece of coping above the skimmer if you think about it...nothing underneath that either. The skimmer lid is a smaller gap to span than the coping over the skimmer opening. The first pic shows where it rests. It's supported all the way around the perimeter.

Been raining non-stop for about 24 hours...but it's full and it's started up. All the plumbing seems good to go...sheers look good, bubblers, etc.

French Gray PebbleSheen and the tile we picked out are going to look great together, I think. Can’t wait to see the final water color!
