What do i need to consider? Plaster pool. Plaster is 10 to 15 years old. Pool was built in mid 80s. I know i have some copper pipes. Any concerns with switching? I'm tired of jugs and trying to time adding bleach when my pumps are on....

Should not be any issue. Just be sure to test the salt level before add more, you will not be starting at 0.
What about pump run times? Currently I only run 2 hours in the summer. 1 in the winter. I have an old pump and at those run times it hasn't made much sense to upgrade to something more efficient. How many hours does it need to run to maintain proper levels?

As you have a single speed pump, it may impact your pump run hours. Get a large SWCG (30k+ gallon rated) so you can limit your pump run time to 8 hours or less.

Maybe it's time to get a variable speed pump and an Easytouch with a built in salt power supply.

With high power rates, you need to run slower to save money.
