Ok y’all I rebuilt my Polaris 360 recently due to the water mgmt system was damaged. Put it back together no extra parts lol and she patrols the pool with authority but her tail just drags , I got the screw out to the point where is almost falling out . Pump works fine plenty of pressure,No leaks in the in any connection and no debris behind the eye where hose attaches to pool side. I can’t figure it out ? I gotta joined this forum cause I looks awesome and I can learn so much and be a pool master one day !
Please help me

I disconnected the tail on mine :) IT would move some but seemed to mainly slow it down..
Did it move before? I Have rebuilt mine a couple time and seems like the tail part is part of the main tube?

I have removed the tail when I disassembled it , the dogs did get a hold of the tail couple times but no visible water shooting from hose , it just seems the pressure was high before , I’m mean when that screw is in all the way you only need a couple of turns for proper water flow to get the tail whipping, I shouldn’t have to have the screw all the way out and not work properly. Dang im at wits end

Time to replace the tail. The tail hoses lose flexibility over time and the wear rings go flat. I just replaced mine and it swishes again. Cost less than $20 complete with hose clamp, wear rings, and foam tail end.
