Pool was plastered over a week ago with Diamondbrite. I have been doing the regular scrubs and checking the chemistry daily. There is a blob of plaster in the shallow end near the built in stairs and another small line of white plaster that juts out in another section. I don't know if its scale since everywhere I have read scale seems to be a film and this is more pronounced. To me the blob just seems like an imperfection in the plaster. Is there a way I can sand that down. I tried a pumice stone from my wife and the pool sanded the stone, not the other way around, lol.

thanks

Welcome to the forum!
Maybe post a picture of what you are seeing? Have you spoke to your pool builder/plaster company?

I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Pool School eBook.

I am about to send a message to the pool builder and taking a picture won't be able to show the issue. I can feel it with my feet but you can't really se the dime size bump because its the color of the plaster and 3ft down. The white line on a ledge would be easier to photograph and that is where I tried the pumice stone since its smaller and easier to do. The pumice stone ended up with the shape of the ledge.
