Aside from the concern about the bleach being "old" my local Home Depot has a three pack at 10% that's a pretty good deal.
128 oz. 3-pack for $9.98. If you buy four or more it's $8.98.

Thanks for the point out. Very helpful for my pool opening next month and available in my area.

Wal-Mart usually has their "Great Value Cleaning Bleach" for $1.77/gallon, 6% strength. Corresponds to about $0.23/oz of bleach. Almost always brand new, usually no more than a week old.

The Pool Essentials 10% at that price is $0.25/oz of bleach. Not a huge difference but it does add up after awhile.

Went today and bought my 3 packs (x5). date code of 19088. Saved $5 for them all. Comes out to 2.99/gal for %10, not bad.

Aldi has since dropped their concentration as well from 8.25% down to 6%. Same price as always though at about $2.59/gallon. Problem I ran into with Aldi however is that sometimes I swear the bleach I got had sat somewhere in a warehouse or stockroom for eons as the color was all but gone when I poured it into the pool.

Ocean State Job Lot, in Enfield CT - another year of 12.5% 1 gallon jugs at $2.99. Their current stock is Austin Pool Tech Shock with a date code of 19 066 (March 7th, 2019).

Home depot has 3 gallon boxes of 10% for 9.98. Only concern is its kept outdoors in the garden section. HEB is now 5.25 last time I used it.

Best going in North Texas (Prosper, McKinney, Frisco area) right now is 2.5 gallon refills at Pinch a Penny in McKinney for 7.88....it's labeled at 10.5%. $3.15 per gallon.

Wal Mart 2 packs of Pool Essentials 10% are typically $6.44 but none of my locals have them...just single gallons (plus they are 2018 dates) for $3.64. No thanks.

Home Depot 3 Gallons of 10% for $9.98 but also late 2018 and stored outside...in shade, but outside.

It was just a matter of time for HEB in Houston to drop their concentration to 6% from 8.5%. Price is the same $2.67 for 121 oz.
San Antonio finally stocked their shelves with the new stuff. I voiced my complaint with the store manager (educated him):rant::rant: . I asked for him to elevate this as they will lose a lot of revenue from pool owners across the state. They lowered the % strength but are still charging the SAME amount! Foul!:mad:
