Hi - ahhh, my new pool... works great, but the plaster is nearing the end of its life.

Pool itself is just stained and pitted, but the spa section is delaminating and hollowed (so I definitely think this was repaired at one point and the bond coat/adhesion was not great).

Pool is NOT leaking water.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for me? Good price, service, warranty?

Thanks.

Thanks. pool is Anthony and Sylvan, from the late 1980's (maybe).

some pictures for fun!

Nice pool. The real pool porn is showing off your equipment pad. ;)

I don't really understand this website... when I try to load pics, it says i am at my limit. so i go into my profile and delete attachments, BUT now I see those images are taken off the thread. that sucks...

Here are some pics of my pad! Well broken in, just the way I like it!

This is my first pool and I didn't have it inspected when I bought the house (b/c I bought the house as-is)... well - I rebuilt my Jandy valves and got all air out of my pump window, cracked open my Hayward DE 4820 Filter and cleaned that puppy out... it was plugged up beyond anything imaginable. Naturally I used a healthy amount of Magic Lube when putting the valves and filter back together. My heater works great so far. I just ordered new Polaris quick connect booster pump hose kit. I was able to salvage the Polaris vacuum and the manual vacuum from what the seller left. Equipment has been reliable thus far. I figured out all the details about the water circulation and got the spa working nicely, can heat up to 104 degrees in like 20 minutes if I recirculate just that water. Got me a frog log (amazing not a single dead frog or worse in the skimmer since).

I even opened the pool myself and plan to close it myself! It's really not that hard!

My aerator won't turn on though!!! But I am not complaining.

I would like to add a chlorinator to the return line so i don't have to put the pucks into the floater or the skimmer.
