Which TFtestkits item to order

About to kick in on my second pool season here and could use help with what chemicals to order.

For my first season I bought a Taylor K-2005 before ever stumbling upon TFP, then added a FAS-DPD Test once I saw the light. Photo attached of my box including the sidecar I 3D printed to make room for the FAS-DPD :).

Most of my tests are about empty or about expired, except for the FAS-DPD which has quite a bit left and expiration date of August.

I definitely want to order from TFtestkits and have reviewed their site.

My main question is whether I should just order a brand new full kit from them and use their box, or attempt to order a K-2006 refill kit and try to keep my current box? The latter looks like it might a bit of a pain (I think I need to transfer chemicals from their bottles to mine so they fit?) so am leaning toward starting from scratch but just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

I like my blue box but don’t mind spending a bit more to get their full kit this year if it will make things easier for me in the long run.

I also like the idea of the magnetic stirrer so will likely add that on as well. Perhaps the sample sizer too.

Thanks much for any advice!!

I’d go all in and get the new kit. And definitely the speedstir!

i use a giant syringe with tubing to pull my water. Gets further down than my arms reach, and pulls more than enough to run all my tests.

Being VERY familiar with the way they are laid out, I would suggest the TF-100. All reagents will fit.....including the smaller Taylor bottles. The box has a lot more room and will let you put your speedstir in the kit.

Simply, you have more room to customize and you can enjoy the larger quantities in the TF-100 as well.

I say go with the TF-100 also. It has more of the regents of what we use the most of. The box can/will hold all of the stuff OR you can order a "refill" set of regents and get a nice tackle box to put it all in. There is a thread about all of the neat set ups some members have done in past. I can't find that thread but here is one that has a couple of neat set up. My new custom Test Kit
