Shaft Seal Went Boom.

Hello Everyone,

I recently noticed that there is a leak from the bottom of the pump and after a little googling, i see that it mostly is the shaft seal that has gone bad. I have a Century A.O. Smith B855 pool pump. This one to be exact:

Century A.O. Smith B855 56Y Square Flange 2 HP Up-Rated Pool and Spa Pump Motor, 10A 230V

But I am not able to find a replacement shaft seal for it. Can you please let me know where I can get it? I emailed Century, but not sure when I will get a reply.

Apologies for falling of the face of the earth. I was a little sick over the weekend. I think its a Pac-Fab one. At least the skimmer basket has a big Pac-Fab logo on it. Now which model, i am not sure. Can you please tell me how identify the make and model of the pump. From a little googling Pac-Fab and Pentair are the same stuff i think

Just a small question, the PoolSupplyWorld folks goofed up on the order and did not put my full address in. So the order is being sent back. So getting it would take some time, is it advisable to run the pump during this time? Or should i just shut down the pump for a few days till the order arrives and i get it installed?
