Pool Math........The App

For starters......backup ANY data you have now. I don't know exactly what weird things may happen and backups are simple to do. Go to the menu and select "Backup Data." Nothing wrong should occur while bouncing back to Beta.....but it's VERY easy to backup just in case. I just tried this and had no issues.

From there delete the App and visit TestFlight to download version 130(175). Install that and login using your Social Login that you originally used. Once you're logged in you'll see a Splash Screen that points you to backing up your data. Backup your data from the Beta version and then delete it. Lastly reinstall the live version and import into your new account.

I had the beta. 4 days ago when I tried to open up the beta version to log my test results it would not open. At that point I downloaded the live version hoping that when I logged in that, by some miracle haha, my previous data would load in as well.

Obviously, that did not happen. Instead, the live version seems to have completely replaced the beta app and therefore I'm not able to try to open it again.

Exact same thing with me, lost all my data across 4 pools on two iOS devices, iPhone and ipad.

The TFP log in is a new feature? Logging out from a google log in and back in with TFP seams to change or loose data.

Edit: I was getting a blue screen and an expired message. I downloaded the latest beta update from test flight but got the same. I'm just going to start again.

Edit 2: Would it be possible to record both SWG % and run time?

AUSpool, your data should still be there. You're attempting at access your data while looking inside of a different account. Please delete the App and install version 130(175) from TestFlight and login using the Google account you originally had used. Once you do this you'll see the following splash screen that allows you to export your data,

That build was launched in June and has allowed you to export your data into the live version. As you mentioned the cause for the blue screen was your Beta expiring after 90 days. It was never meant to be a perminant App until it hit the App Store in Mid-June.

I try the same thing as above and couldn't get my data back from the beta site....
Can you please try reinstalling the Beta version of the App from this page. After logging in using the same account used during Beta you too should see the same Splash Screen instructing you to download your data from the Beta server. The version you were using was likely downloaded in early May and as been updated multiple times since. You’ll likely find the new version more stable than the Beta you were using.

I went to that page, and it installed and all I keep getting is the "current version"....I can not find a way to download the beta version. I can't post pics anymore so I can't show you what is going on.

Hi, just subscribed to the app a week ago and it worked for a day but now it doesn't allow me to save multiple logs or set up multiple pools. I try and restore subscription but it says no valid one but when I try and set up a new subscription it says I have one and it expires in a year. Also, the "expiry date" in the app says it expires January 1, 0001. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure it's been brought up. Filter pressure. There's no way to trend that. So, my pressure is 19psi today, but I have no idea what it was at the beginning, or 2 months ago. Thanks!

Request: trend pressure

2nd request to be greedy. Would be great to be able to trend anything. Tap CH, and it shows all your CH results with dates or something. So you can see, oh, it's slowly creeping up (just graphicly easier to see a trend)

After we got out of Beta our first goal was to recreate the main features of the PoolMath webpage for the end user. We ran into a MAJOR roadblock in early July when we discovered a major flaw in part of our login process. This flaw set us back greatly. Right now we’re working on fixing the finial few crashes (over 99% of our users no longer see a crash) before we move onto additional features. Chemical tracking and graphs are clearly the two most commonly requested features and likely are gonna be our starting blocks. Of coarse we’ve got a few additional ideas of our own we may toss in. ;)

We thank all of you for your support and your patience. This has turned out to be a TON of extra work than I first expected, but it’s clear it’s greatly benefiting TFP’s users along the way.

Thank you all!!

I use notes for things that aren't on it. I know it's not ideal but at least the data is there :)

But, not easy to get to. "Let's see, when did I clean that filter", one by one checking every pool test for notes.

Well, if you're computer savvy, then just export your data to CSV format and open it in Excel. You then run a search for what you're looking for. Not ideal but I have all the MS Office Apps on my phone so it's just a few finger swipes to do that.

I've created backups of both my beta data as well as the official app data. I can't see an import option, nor can I get it to open up within the app by going directly to the file locations and clicking on it. Any ideas?

I lost all the data I have entered on the beta version, I am not able to retrieve my previous information that I entered? Any idea how I can retrieve it? Thanks for any help.
