Pool wont hold chlorine

Maestro - I created a spreadsheet to calculate production as I wanted to understand just what the SWG was producing. Putting in figures for your pool specs I show 8.0FC per day at 100% output. From there it's all linear as to changing the run time and/or output.

FYI, you can also use the Pool Math calculator here in TFP to see the effects. Put in the # of gallons of your pool and then scroll down to the bottom where it shows "Effects of adding chemicals". 1.47lbs = 23.52 oz (chlorine gas), shows "raise FC by 8, lower pH by 0.67, and raise Salt by 6.6" for your pool size.

Thanks, bobandsherrry. After I wrote, I realized the math is pretty straightforward. 22K gallons of water x 8.34 lbs/gal = 183,700 lbs., and 1.47 lbs. chlorine/183,700 x 1million = 8ppm.

Now I'm curious about the effect of chlorine adding salt to the water, but I'll stop highjacking this thread and start a new one. It's a shame that the new app doesn't show the related effects of the chemicals like the web version does. Perhaps in the next update...
