Did you line the children up against the wall and interrogate them under the hot lamps of your 500W halogen contractor lights (I know you guys own them!!)?? Make 'em sweat it out a little until someone confesses...the older ones will always throw the littlest one under the bus, it's inevitable....

Ooooooo...space-age technology....very fancy and, might I say.....SHINY!!!! (yup, had to endure it again today...).

You know where a good set of old-school contractor (painter) lights comes in handy - keeping your citrus warm in the winter. I bought a bunch of cheap, clip-on aluminum reflectors from HD a few years back that I put those old-style "antique" light bulbs in (about 60W) and, when the overnight temperatures get near freezing, I just clip one or two of them onto my citrus trees (they're still small now) and that keeps the warm all night long.

And, of course, there's interrogating the children....

Some update on our progress: we finished the French drain, landscape fabric and got a lot of gravel moved into the backyard to start the deck. The majority of our irrigation lines are done and connected to their valves. Once we move that pile of dirt we can finish them. Mike tied the downspout from our gutter into the yard drain. We are ready to have our sound wall inspected so we can do a few more courses on it.

It is climbable lol but eventually we want to put some steps up it to make it easier and add some landscaping so it isn't an eyesore. I'm actually not that sore - I think my body is getting used to all the yard work.
